After living in Lebanon for ten years, attending a Pride parade felt impossible. Moving to Canada during Pride Month showed me a different reality—one where people can openly celebrate who they are and who they love. This reflection explores the contrast between living in silence and discovering the freedom to exist authentically in a place that celebrates individuality and pride.

Mother’s Day is a reminder that motherhood comes in many forms. Raised by a stepmom who became my best friend, I learned that being a mother is about love, support, and acceptance. This reflection shares lessons I hope to pass on one day—about letting children be themselves, listening without judgment, and showing unconditional love.

Working from home can blur the lines between routine and rest, often leaving us feeling unmotivated or isolated. Creating small daily habits—like setting a sleep schedule, moving your body, stepping outside, and staying connected with others—can help restore structure, boost productivity, and support better mental health.
